Four American soldiers went missing during training exercises in Lithuania, near the town of Pabrade. A large-scale search operation has been launched with the participation of Lithuanian and American soldiers.
On Monday, four American soldiers went missing in Lithuania from a training ground near the town of Pabrade. The United States initiated a search with the support of the Armed Forces and law enforcement officers of Lithuania. This was reported by the US Embassy writes UNN.

The missing soldiers from the 1st Brigade and the 3rd Infantry Division were conducting routine tactical training.

The Lithuanian Armed Forces also reported the disappearance of tracked vehicles during the exercises.
Later it was reported that a tracked vehicle also disappeared at the General Silvestras Zhukauskas training ground in Pabrade.
Yesterday, Lithuanian and foreign soldiers, as well as helicopters of the Air Force and the State Border Guard Service, were involved in the search. A search and rescue operation is currently underway, led by the Lithuanian Army. Additional forces of the Fire and Rescue Department and other agencies are involved.
