The Maltese vessel Celestial Discovery is heading to Oman without passengers. Iran and the US announced the opening of the strategic waterway for shipping.

According to the MarineTraffic vessel tracking system, a Maltese-flagged passenger ship, presumably sailing without passengers and heading to Oman, left Dubai on Friday after 47 days in dock, UNN reports with reference to AP.

The Celestial Discovery is expected to arrive in Oman on Saturday.
Hours earlier, Iran and the United States announced that the strategically important waterway, effectively closed since the beginning of the conflict, would be fully open to commercial shipping.
