The US President announced an agreement with Iran not to close the strait again. Earlier, Tehran announced its opening for the duration of the ceasefire.
Iran will keep the Strait of Hormuz open forever. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in his latest post on Truth Social, reports UNN.
"Iran has agreed to never close the Strait of Hormuz again," the US president wrote after a series of posts on his social network.
"It will no longer be used as a weapon against the whole world!" he added.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi announced the Strait of Hormuz "fully open" for the "rest of the ceasefire."
