FIFA has added a new price category for tournament matches, including the opening match between USA and Paraguay on June 12 in Inglewood, where first category tickets cost up to $4105. Previously, the maximum price was $2735.

Also, without a separate announcement, second category tickets for this match appeared — from $1940 to $2330. For other games, prices also increased, in particular for Canada's match in Toronto, first category tickets were added up to $3360.

Final and overall dynamics

Tickets for the tournament final, which will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, have increased the most in price. The maximum price rose to $10,990 from $8,680 previously.

Second category tickets for the final now cost $7380, and third category tickets cost $5785. However, tickets for the final match are currently unavailable on the FIFA sales platform.

The FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19 and will be held in 16 cities across the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The organizer has not yet provided official explanations regarding changes in ticket price structure and categories.
