Exchange rate for December 18: hryvnia at record low

The NBU has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 41.8271 UAH/USD, which is 8 kopecks lower than the previous one. In exchange offices and banks, the dollar is trading in the range of UAH 41.55-42.05.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 41.8271 UAH/USD, which devalued the hryvnia by 8 kopecks, UNN reports citing the NBU.
Details
The official dollar exchange rate is 41.82 UAH/USD. The NBU has also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at 43.91 UAH/€.
According to the data on specialized websites, as of 9:15 am:
- The dollar can be bought for UAH 42.05 and sold for UAH 41.55 in banks.
- Euros can be bought for UAH 44.25 and sold for UAH 43.60 in banks.
- In exchange offices, the dollar is trading at UAH 41975-42.00, and the euro at UAH 44.17-44.30.
- On the interbank market, the rates are 41.88 - 41.93 UAH/USD for the dollar and 43.99-44.03 UAH/€ for the euro, respectively.
