"Ukraine will receive military assistance from Estonia in the amount of 100 million euros," the country's Ministry of Defense said in X.
"Ukraine has officially presented Estonia with a list of wishes for military assistance, which the Estonian state will now urgently purchase from the domestic defense industry," the statement said.
The list, as indicated, includes unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles, water vehicles, medical equipment and supplies offered by Estonian defense companies. More detailed information, quantity and delivery times will not be disclosed for security reasons.
"Last year, we agreed that this year and next year we will support Ukraine militarily with 0.25% of our GDP per year through the products of the Estonian defense industry. It was nice to see that there were many Estonian manufacturers who offered their products. Today we received feedback from Ukraine, which will allow us to deliver assistance to Ukrainians as quickly as possible," said Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur.
"As the next step, the State Defense Investment Center will conclude contracts for the purchase of selected products as soon as possible," said Katri Raudsepp, Chairman of the Expert Committee on Support Measures for Ukraine and Deputy Director General of RKIK.
