Ukraine's energy system remains balanced despite the damage to its infrastructure. It is planned to import electricity from 5 countries in the total amount of 4004 MWh.
Ukraine's energy system remains balanced, with plans to import electricity from 5 neighboring countries, the Energy Ministry said on Monday, UNN reports.
Details
"Currently, the power system remains balanced. Damage to the infrastructure complicates the operation of the power system," the Energy Ministry said.
Ukrainians were urged to use electricity rationally, especially in the evening from 17:00 to 22:00. "This helps power engineers keep the system in a more stable state," the ministry explained.
As noted, over the past day, power engineers restored power to 10,785 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities.
Situation at ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond is 14.19 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.
Import
For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are forecasted to total 4004 MWh with a capacity of 480 MW.
