"Dynamo" signed right-back Oleksii Sych

Kyiv's "Dynamo" completed the transfer of right-back defender of the Ukrainian national team and Lviv's "Karpaty" Oleksii Sych. The agreement is calculated for three years with the possibility of extending cooperation for another year, the club reported, UNN reports. 

The football club "Dynamo" signed a contract with 25-year-old right-back defender Oleksii Sych. The agreement is calculated for three years with the possibility of extending cooperation for another year 

As reported by the club, Sych is a product of Lviv's "Karpaty", for which he debuted on March 14, 2020, in the Lviv derby against FC "Lviv" (1:1) as part of the 23rd round of the Premier League, starting in the lineup. 

From 2020 to 2025, Sych was a player of Lviv's "Rukh". In the 2022/23 season, he played on loan for Belgian "Kortrijk" (14 matches in the Belgian championship, 3 in the Cup). 

In January 2025, he returned to Lviv's "Karpaty". In the UPL, Sych has 87 matches to his name, another 2 in the Ukrainian Cup. 

Sych has two matches for the Ukrainian national team. He debuted on November 19, 2024, in the Nations League match Albania – Ukraine (1:2). He also took part in the Nations League playoff match Ukraine – Belgium (3:1), which took place on March 20, 2025 

It is worth noting that although the transfer fee is not disclosed, according to the Transfermarkt portal, the Kyiv club paid 1 million euros to the Lviv club.
