The promoter of British boxer Daniel Dubois announced that his fighter is considering three candidates. According to Ring Magazine, a mysterious third heavyweight has joined Oleksandr Usyk and Derek Chisora. The fight is scheduled to take place in London in July 2025, UNN reports.
Details
IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois confirmed that he is considering three fighters for his next bout.
Among them:
- an "undisputed fight" with the Ukrainian - undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs);
- the famous British heavyweight Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs).
Previously, a contractual rematch with Anthony Joshua (former IBF world champion (2016-2019, 2019-2021)) was discussed. Regarding the third contender, Dubois's British promoter, Frank Warren, confirmed that it definitely won't be Wladimir Klitschko. Perhaps it could be interim WBO title holder Joseph Parker (26-3, 24 KOs)? Also, fellow heavyweight boxer Moses Itauma (11-0, 9 KOs) could have fought, but he already has his next fight scheduled.
