According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian side does not reject the diplomatic path, but negotiations are possible only if Ukraine has a strong position and real pressure is applied to Russia.

The President emphasized that Ukraine's partners understand the true intentions of the Russian leadership. According to him, Putin does not demonstrate readiness for peace, but uses such statements as a tool of political manipulation.

Zelenskyy noted that Europe must act more actively in three key areas: strengthening sanctions against Russia, confiscating Russian assets, and stable funding for Ukraine. According to the president, these decisions should strengthen Ukraine's position before any possible negotiations.

Separately, the head of state stated that Putin is afraid of the return of the Russian army home, as ending the war without victory could create internal risks for him. Zelenskyy believes that this fear is one of the reasons why the Russian dictator does not seek a real end to the war.
