The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Oleksandr Hale from the post of Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine. He was detained for taking a $500,000 bribe for permission to export equipment from the frontline area.
The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Oleksandr Hale from the post of Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine amid a half-million dollar bribe case. This was reported by the government's representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, UNN reports.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed Oleksandr Valeriyovych Hale from the post of Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine," Melnychuk wrote on Telegram.

Prior to that, NABU and SAPO reportedthat Deputy Energy Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Heilo and three of his accomplices were caught taking a half-million dollar bribe to allow the export of mining equipment from the frontline area.
The official of the Ministry of Energy and his three accomplices were detained red-handed. Their actions are classified as a crime under Part 4 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Energy then reported that it had "immediately submitted a proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers to dismiss the said official".
"The Ministry of Energy is closely cooperating with the investigation to ensure an objective investigation and establish all the circumstances of the offense," the ministry said.
