Capable of intercepting enemy "Shaheds": a new UAV for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been presented in Ukraine.

Ukraine has developed and presented a domestic drone to intercept Iranian-made "Shahed" unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the "Militarny" website, reports UNN.

This drone was demonstrated during the visit to Kyiv of the Belgian delegation led by Prime Minister Bart de Wever. The head of the Belgian government was also acquainted with other developments of the Ukrainian defense industry complex.

The video of the drone presentation was published on his Telegram page by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. And although the detailed characteristics of this UAV are currently unknown, according to the developers, the maximum speed is 200 km/h, and the maximum flight altitude is 5 km.

Likewise, the developers called the drone the most successful interceptor of "Shahed", which is currently in service with the Defense Forces of Ukraine. In addition to shooting down Russian strike drones, it can be used to destroy reconnaissance UAVs with smaller dimensions.
