Borys the deer taken to Kyiv for treatment

The famous deer Borys, who was hit by a car in the Rivne region, has been taken to Kyiv for treatment. This was reported by the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine," according to UNN. 

Borys the deer has been taken for a full medical examination. Today, the animal was examined by a team from the "Wild Animal Rescue Center." After consultation, specialists decided to take Borys to the rehabilitation center, where he will undergo a full examination and, if necessary, treatment under the supervision of veterinarians. The condition of the injured leg has visually improved. However, the final decision regarding the need for surgery will be made by doctors after a detailed diagnosis, 

At the same time, it is reported that the deer's damaged antler is healing, but it has begun to grow incorrectly; therefore, surgery will likely be required, which was the main reason for transporting the animal to the rehabilitation center.

As a reminder 

In the Rivne region, Borys the deer was hit by a car at night; the driver was located and three administrative protocols were filed against her, and there is no threat to the injured animal's life. 

At the end of March, it was reported that Borys the deer's condition had stabilized. There is no threat to his life.
