During this week, border guards did not record any attempts by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter Ukraine. Also, border guards have not recorded any Russian troop build-up on the border with Ukraine. Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, said this during a telethon, UNN reports.

"The shelling continues, and in fact it happens every day in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions. In recent days, we see that the majority of attacks are in the Kharkiv region. Speaking about the enemy's attempts to use subversive reconnaissance groups, Sumy region remains the most active area. This week we did not record any attempts of enemy subversive reconnaissance groups to enter the area. The most extreme case of detection of an enemy subversive reconnaissance group was in Sumy region this weekend," said Demchenko.

He noted that the border guards do not record the build-up of Russian forces.

"On the other side of the border, we do not record that Russia is building up its forces or has the necessary forces and means to carry out a second invasion that could achieve a strategic goal. But we can never rule out that at any moment the enemy may try to take actions for tactical actions, so the build-up in the defense sector in Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions continues," Demchenko added.

Recall

On April 14, in Sumy region, border guards repelled an attack by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group, and the Russians retreated.
