Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic at the Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border, allowing only a few trucks to pass through per hour or restricting traffic altogether, leading to queues of 570 trucks on the Polish side.

Polish farmers continue to block the movement of trucks at two checkpoints, allowing several trucks to pass through per hour or restricting traffic altogether. The blocking is carried out in the direction of the Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints - there are about 570 trucks in the queues in Poland in front of them. This was reported to UNN by Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

As of today, Polish farmers are blocking truck traffic at two checkpoints, allowing several trucks to pass through per hour or restricting traffic altogether. The blockade is being carried out in the direction of the Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints. Over the past day, Polish protesters have not allowed trucks to cross into Poland through these checkpoints. The protesters continue to let a small number of trucks to Ukraine through Yagodyn, especially when compared to the capacity of this crossing point. Yesterday there were 80 of them. As of this morning, a total of 570 trucks are queuing at these two blocked crossing points in Poland

- Demchenko said.

He reminded that yesterday Polish farmers stopped blocking the Dolhobychuv-Uhryniv checkpoint.

"According to the information we received from the Polish Border Guard, around 2 p.m., the protesters stopped restricting the movement of trucks in Poland. At present, the registration and passage of trucks across the border in both directions at this checkpoint is carried out in the usual mode," added Demchenko.

Also, according to him, the queues remain at the previously unblocked directions of the Krakivets and Shehyni checkpoints.

"850 and 600 trucks, respectively. However, heavy traffic both leaving and entering Ukraine is taking place in accordance with the capacity of each checkpoint. Cars and buses cross the border freely everywhere, and there are no restrictions on traffic for this category of vehicles on the other side of the border," the spokesman added.

Recall

On the Polish side, they plan to resume the blockade of cargo from April 18 to 20 in front of the Korczowa-Krakowiec checkpoint on the border with Ukraine, allowing only 1 car per hour.
