Today, May 5, as noted, a Mercedes-Benz driven by a 35-year-old resident of the Ivano-Frankivsk region arrived at the "Shehyni – Medyka" checkpoint to enter Ukraine.

"To pass customs control, the driver chose the 'green corridor' lane, intended for moving goods that are not subject to mandatory declaration and taxation. However, during the inspection of the vehicle, customs officers discovered 56 units of branded goods—clothing, footwear, bags, and accessories from brands such as Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Hermes, Balmain, Cartier, Dyson, Chanel, and Pinko," the State Customs Service stated.

The estimated value of the items involved in the violation is reportedly about 1 million hryvnias.

A protocol on the violation of customs rules was drawn up regarding this fact under Part 2 of Art. 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine (Non-declaration of goods moved across the customs border of Ukraine by citizens).
