On December 29, in South Korea, a Jeju Air passenger plane landing at the Muan International Airport in Cheollanamdo went off the runway, collided with the outer wall of the airport and exploded.
According to updated data, 151 people died in the crash, 2 were rescued, and 28 are missing. As the fuselage completely burned down, all the missing persons are presumed dead. The government has declared Muan, the area where the crash occurred, a special disaster area and is making every effort to eliminate the accident.
