18 air targets were destroyed in an air battle during the russian attack on Ukraine last night.
Last night, 18 air targets were destroyed as a result of an anti-aircraft battle, including 9 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles and 9 Shahed-136/131 strike drones. This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, reports UNN.
Details
On the night of March 31, 2024, the russian military attacked the territory of Ukraine using various types of missile and aviation equipment: cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and a ballistic missile.
Thus, the enemy used Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft to launch 14 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles; 11 Shahed-type strike drones, an Iskander-M ballistic missile, and an X-59 guided missile.
As a result of the air battle, 18 air targets were destroyed, including 9 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles and 9 Shahed-136/131 strike drones.
