In Kyiv region, 8 veterans' hubs are being set up to reintegrate and support veterans and their families. The project includes counseling, mentoring programs, an entrepreneurship school, and employment assistance. This was reported by Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, according to UNN.

In Kyiv region, we are launching a new project to support veterans and their families. It is about supporting the reintegration of our defenders in their professional and social development

- Kravchenko wrote on Facebook.

He said that special veteran hubs will operate at 8 educational institutions in the region.

Veterans' hubs will become platforms:

  • for networking and advice;
  • individual support;
  • career planning and preparation for the labor market.

According to Kravchenko, vocational education institutions will introduce mentoring programs for veterans and their relatives to help them find employment and retrain.

In addition, an entrepreneurship school will be organized. This is a training course for aspiring entrepreneurs and those wishing to start their own business.

"Thanks to this, veterans will be able to take advantage of the government's eRobota program. In particular, they will be able to receive a grant for veterans and their families or a grant for starting/developing their own business," said the RMA chairman.

Amendments to the Competitive Kyiv Region program also provide for new tools to stimulate the employment of our defenders.

Hiring combat veterans has become a new criterion for rating selection of business entities that will be additionally reimbursed part of the interest up to 0% by the regional budget under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%".

Detailed information about the project will be available at the Kyiv Regional Employment Center and its territorial divisions, "Made in Ukraine" offices, and regional ASCs.
