The Uruguayan Meteorological Institute reports that two people died when strong winds from the southwest blew into the country early Sunday morning.
In Argentina, a woman died after hitting a branch that fell from a a tree. In the village of Bahia Blanca, another 13 people died on Saturday as a result of the collapse of a wall.
On Sunday, the President of Argentina visited the crash site Javier Milei, the President of Argentina.
The powerful storm also knocked down trees and lampposts in the the capital Buenos Aires.
