112 combat clashes have occurred at the front since the beginning of the day. The most tense situation is observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy made 46 attempts to break through the defense.
Despite significant losses inflicted on them by Ukrainian soldiers, the Russian invaders continue to try to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The hottest situation is in the Pokrovsk direction, UNN writes with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Operational information as of 16:00 05.04.2025 regarding the Russian invasion
Today, areas of the settlements of Khrinivka in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Baranivka, Kucherivka, Popivka, Porozok, Chuikivka, Prohody, Hrabovske, Petrushivka, Mykhailivka and Maryine in Sumy region were affected by enemy artillery shelling from the territory of Russia. In addition, the aviation of the terrorist country launched air strikes with guided air bombs on the settlements of Petrushivka, Prohody, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka and Bratenytsia in Sumy region
In total, 112 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack in the Kharkiv direction towards Kamyanka. Kozacha Lopan and Slatine were subjected to air strikes. In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled three enemy assaults, and two combat clashes are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemies have made 46 attempts to dislodge the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Kotlyarivka, Valentynivka, Oleksandropol, Tarasivka, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka and Bohdanivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 39 enemy attacks.
"Today, in the Liman direction, the invading army launched 16 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Novoegorivka, Novolyubivka, Grekivka, Novy, Katerynivka and in the direction of Zelena Dolyna. Currently, two battles are ongoing," the statement said.
Also, in the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Chasovoy Yar and Hryhorivka. In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried to dislodge our units from their positions in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Toretsk, Dachne, Leonidivka and Druzhba, where the Defense Forces repelled nine assaults by Russian units; three more battles are still ongoing.
"In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by invaders, and four more battles are ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out 195 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched six air strikes, dropping 14 guided bombs," the General Staff said.

Over the past day, from April 4 to 5, losses of the Russian army on the front amounted to 1,390 soldiers. Also, the Defense Forces destroyed 13 tanks, 67 artillery systems, 105 drones and 113 units of enemy vehicles. 13 Russian tanks and a lot of other enemy equipment were also destroyed.
