In the Kursk region, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven attacks by Russians, but fighting continues in two locations. Since the beginning of April 4, there have been 81 combat clashes in various directions of the front.
In the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven attacks by the Russians. Fighting is currently ongoing in two locations. This is reported by the General Staff, reports UNN.
It is reported that in total, 81 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of April 4.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks by the invaders. The enemy also launched three air strikes, dropping five guided bombs, and carried out 211 artillery shellings. Fighting is currently ongoing in two locations
It is noted that in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy twice tried to advance in the areas of Vovchansk and towards Kamyanka. The Defense Forces successfully stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance in the Kupyansk direction near Zahryzove.
The General Staff also informed about the situation in other directions:
• in the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 28 times towards the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Olhivka, Novosergiyivka, Nove and near Nadiya. Fighting is currently ongoing in 14 locations;
• in the Siversky direction, there have been two combat engagements near Bilohorivka and in the direction of Verkhnokamyanske since the beginning of the day, and one combat engagement is currently ongoing;
• in the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Krymske, Dachne, Toretsk, Leonidivka and in the direction of Diliivka, making 13 attempts to improve their position. Three combat engagements are currently ongoing;
• in the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 13 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of Andriivka, Sukha Balka, Yelyzavetivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the enemy's onslaught and repelled ten enemy attacks. The enemy launched air strikes with guided bombs on the areas of Pokrovsk and Sukhyi Yar;
• today in the Novopavlivka direction, enemy units attacked the positions of our troops five times near Kostyantynopol and Rozlyv, and also launched air strikes on the Bahatyr area. Four attacks are still ongoing;
• today, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once in the area of Novoselka in the Huliaipole direction. At the same time, they launched air strikes on Novopole, Huliaipole and Novodarivka;
• in the Orikhiv direction, there were four combat engagements. The enemy is trying to advance near Mali Shcherbaky and Stepove, and two battles are still ongoing;
• in the Prydniprovsky and Kramatorsk directions, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions, shelling the positions of the Defense Forces and settlements, using strike UAVs and conducting reconnaissance.
