People's Deputy Honcharenko reported on the rejection of an amendment to bill No. 13574. It provided for the cancellation of mobilization deferment for men aged 25+ who enroll in educational institutions.

Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi presented the draft state budget for 2026 for the education and science sector, the total volume of which is 257. 4 billion UAH. The document provides for a 30% increase in teachers' salaries from January 1 and another 20% from September 1, as well as investments in school safety.

The parliamentary committee on education will investigate the reasons for the delays and the effectiveness of expenditures.

In Ukraine, the project of transitioning to a 12-year school system has officially started. The experiment will last until August 2027, preparing for the recognition of Ukrainian certificates in Europe.
