In early August, a 21-foot boat found itself in distress between Petersburg and Juneau after running out of fuel. The crew was eventually assisted by the cruise ship Wilderness Legacy.
According to cruise ship passenger Michael Love, Zuckerberg’s yacht was closer to the boat at the time but did not respond to requests from the Coast Guard.

According to him, after the cruise ship’s captain made the announcement, passengers responded to the information by booing.
