When asked about Ukraine, Rutte praised their fight against Russia and noted that "there are even reports that Ukraine in net terms is regaining territory, not massively, but at least stabilizing and potentially even moving in the right direction."
"I wouldn't be too happy if I were Putin today – I would never be happy if I were Putin – but especially not the last few weeks, because things are not going in the right direction," Rutte pointed out.
He confirmed that Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be invited to participate in the summit in Ankara.
Regarding Ukraine, during his speech, Rutte also repeated his key phrases from yesterday, emphasizing the need to continue supporting and financing Ukraine and its procurement through PURL.
