"We are actively conducting diplomatic work with our partners in the European Union to bring Ukraine's EU membership closer," Zelenskyy said in his traditional evening address on Saturday.
The President noted that "Ukraine is fighting for its life, for its independence, and for that Europe which has lived in peace the longest, protects people and life, protects culture, and precisely because of such protection, holds a truly global role."
Without Ukraine, there can be no full-fledged European project, and Ukraine's presence in the EU must also be full-fledged—with full rights. It is important to open clusters. It is important to move forward substantively in negotiations. It is important to work 100% for the sake of security and for our people. I thank everyone who is with us, who is with Ukraine!
