Zelenskyy discussed EU support for Ukraine and unity with Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, emphasizing the importance of air defense and cooperation in combating Russian disinformation.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted that he had a conversation with Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. The issues of EU unity and the need to support Ukraine were raised, UNN reports.
They discussed the importance of maintaining the EU's political and financial support for Ukraine, as well as the unity of the European Union in view of the expected decision of the European Council summit to open accession negotiations and provide 50 billion euros of support. Ukraine, for its part, fulfills all its obligations to the EU

Also during the conversation, Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of further strengthening Ukraine's air defense, in the context of this morning's shelling of infrastructure, which caused destruction and deaths.
Separately, according to the president, the parties focused on joint efforts to counter Russian disinformation and on cooperation in cybersecurity.
As a reminder
On December 6, it was reportedthat Ukraine had fulfilled more than 90% of the European Commission's recommendations necessary for negotiations on joining the European Union.
