The defense team of Andriy Yermak is working on posting a bail of 140 million hryvnias and is preparing an appeal against the court's decision. This was reported to a UNN journalist by Ihor Fomin, the lawyer for the former Head of the Office of the President.

When asked whether anyone has already started collecting or posting the bail funds, the lawyer replied briefly.

"Yes, I am handling this directly,"

He also added that the defense intends to appeal not only the bail amount of 140 million hryvnias but the court decision itself.

"We will be appealing this court decision in its entirety. Not just the amount of bail, but the validity of the decision made,"

At the same time, he noted that if the bail is not posted in the near future, Andriy Yermak will remain in custody.

Meanwhile, People's Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that, according to his information, the bail for the former Head of the OP might be posted today.

"According to my information, the bail for Yermak will be posted as early as today. The source will be various representatives from legal circles,"
