The Russian ambassador to China announced that Xi Jinping will visit Moscow in 2025. According to him, China and Russia plan to jointly counteract the United States and its allies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia in 2025, Russian media reported on Friday, citing Moscow's ambassador to Beijing, Igor Morgulov, Reuters reports, UNN reports.
"As for specific bilateral events, I can say that the relevant plans are being actively developed. What I can say, which is not a secret in terms of priority, is that the Chinese president is expected in Russia next year," the ambassador said.
Morgulov also said that China, which has refrained from condemning Russia's war in Ukraine, understands the reason for the "conflict" "because they are facing the same problems - the United States and its allies are increasing pressure on China in the Asia-Pacific region.
NATO, he said, is "developing plans to move its military infrastructure" to the region.
According to him, Russia and China should jointly respond to US policy.
