WHO has delivered essential assistance, including food, fuel and medicine for 42,000 patients to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, which continues to operate at a minimum level and is in dire need of specialized medical staff.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and its partners have delivered essential aid to Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza.

The cargo included food, 24,050 liters of fuel, and medical supplies for 42,000 patients, including anesthetics, surgical materials, and medicines.

The hospital continues to be minimally functional, with an acute need for specialized medical staff 

- said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

According to the information, the WHO also reached Al-Helou Hospital, which has limited services and acute medical needs.
