The NATO Secretary General has warned of Russian spies in the Alliance and called for vigilance, citing recent arrests of suspected Russian agents in Germany and the UK.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has warned of alleged Russian spies in the Alliance and urged allies to remain vigilant. This was reported by UNN with reference to the speech of the NATO Secretary General during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Stoltenberg said that NATO countries have recently detained several people suspected of working for Russia.

Last week, Germany arrested individuals accused of espionage and sabotage. And today in the UK, 5 people have been charged with hostile state activities in favor of Russia

- said the NATO Secretary General.

He emphasized that NATO Allies are in full solidarity with Germany and the United Kingdom. Stoltenberg emphasized that such actions are dangerous and unacceptable, but they will in no way prevent the Alliance from helping Ukraine.
