USAID CEP is launching an employment support program for youth, veterans, women, people with disabilities and IDPs. The project includes 8 components of $230 thousand each and will run from November 2024 to June 2025.
The USAID program "Competitive Economy of Ukraine" is allocating $1.8 million to support the employment of Ukrainians, the Ministry of Economy reported, UNN writes.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, this project includes retraining programs, cooperation with the private sector and business associations, private universities, and vocational training institutions.
Svyrydenko emphasized the urgency of the initiative, noting: "The lack of personnel is one of the main problems for business today. The government is addressing this issue through training and retraining programs. According to Gradus Research, 88% of Ukrainians are ready to change their profession, with 45% of women considering working in areas previously statistically dominated by men. The new USAID program will help improve the labor market situation in key sectors such as construction and logistics.
The initiative consists of 8 components, each with a budget of $230,000, and will run from November 2024 to June 30, 2025.
