The US Senate for the fifth time this year failed to support a bill that would limit President Donald Trump's powers to use military force against Iran without congressional approval. This is reported by CNN, writes UNN.

The initiative did not receive the necessary support - 46 senators voted "for", 51 - "against".
Democratic Senator John Fetterman joined Republicans and opposed the bill, while Republican Rand Paul supported Democrats.
Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Democrats plan to continue bringing similar initiatives to a vote every week.
