Ukrenergo urges to use energy-consuming appliances during the day - from 11:00 to 15:00
Kyiv • UNN
The best situation in the Ukrainian power system is from 11:00 to 15:00, when solar power plants are operating. Ukrenergo recommends using powerful electrical appliances at this time to balance the power system.
In the Ukrainian power system, the best situation is currently observed during the daytime, from 11:00 to 15:00. In addition to other capacities, solar power plants operate efficiently at this time. Therefore, Ukrenergo calls for the use of energy-consuming appliances during the daytime. This was reported by UNN.

Ukrenergo said that July 30 was the first day this month when there were no power outages. In the absence of massive attacks, there will be more such days in August and October, or short-term restrictions will be in the evening only.
As noted, the reason for the improvement of the situation - is that the system has more energy due to the release of two units at nuclear power plants from repair, and consumption has decreased due to the cold snap.
The best situation in the Ukrainian power system is now during the daytime, from 11:00 to 15:00. This is the time when solar power plants operate efficiently in addition to other capacities. At the same time, the morning and evening hours of the day require more capacity to cover the country's consumption. Therefore, economical consumption during these hours of the day will help balance the power system and avoid the introduction of schedules
The company called for the transfer of the use of powerful electrical appliances - , such as irons, washing machines, electric kettles, electric stoves, and other devices to the period from 11:00 to 15:00 every day.
This will reduce the load on the power system, according to Ukrenergo.
However, they noted that this recommendation is relevant right now. “The situation in the power system may change. It depends on the consequences of further Russian attacks, as well as on weather conditions that affect the level of electricity consumption in the country,” the company added.
