Ukrainians are buying fewer Chinese cars: the market has fallen by 36% in first quarter

In January-March 2025, Ukrainians purchased 2,641 passenger cars of Chinese production. This is reported by Ukrautoprom in Telegram, writes UNN.

"During the first quarter of 2025, Ukrainians purchased 2,641 units of passenger cars imported from China... This is 36% less compared to the same period in 2024," the report says.
Of this number of new cars, 2,077 units, which is 30% less than last year. At the same time, imports of used cars from China decreased even more significantly - by 52% (564 cars).
Despite the drop in overall volume, Chinese cars in Ukraine remain predominantly electric - 83% of all purchased cars were electric vehicles.
