As Defense Express notes, observer "Powerful Informant" suggests that the users of the Warmate 5 may be units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, which have previously used drones of the Warmate family.
The publication emphasizes that these drones rarely appear in open sources, so it is still difficult to draw conclusions about the scale of their use. It is also currently unknown whether Ukraine is purchasing them with its own funds, or whether the supplies are being carried out as part of international military aid, in particular with the support of the "Drone Coalition".
Production localized in Ukraine
According to Defense Express, the Polish company WB Group, which previously provided service and repair of its products in Ukraine, launched localized production in 2025.
The Warmate 5 is a kamikaze attack drone capable of using modular warheads weighing 5 or 10 kg and striking targets at a distance of up to 100 km. In terms of its characteristics, it belongs to the same class as the Russian "Lancet" and the Ukrainian RAM-2X.
