Ukrainian basketball player Viktor Kobzysty was killed by a Russian rocket attack in Lviv, the Ukrainian Basketball Federation reports.
Ukrainian basketball player, coach, international master of sports of Ukraine Viktor Kobzystyy was killed in Lviv as a result of a of a Russian missile attack today, December 29, UNN reports, citing the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.

Viktor Kobzysty has played 11 matches for the for the national team played 11 matches, playing at the European Championships in 2001 and 2005. At the club level he played for Neftekhimik (Kremenchuk), CSKA Rico Kyiv, Azovmash Mariupol, Dnipro and Budivelnyk Kyiv. Champion of Ukraine (2011), vice-champion of Ukraine (2010), also a participant of two Universiades (2003, 2005).
After completing his his playing career as a coach, he became the champion of Ukraine twice (2013, 2014), winner of the Super League Cup (2012) and the Ukrainian Cup (2013). He was the president of of Basketball Club Kreminna from 2015 to 2020.
I will return to coaching this season, leading Dynamo Kyiv in the Women's Super League. I left the position in the middle of November.
