For the first time, Ukraine has used British Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike Russian territory. Permission to use the missiles was granted in response to Russia's involvement of North Korean troops.
Ukraine has fired British Storm Shadow cruise missiles at Russian territory, Bloomberg reports, citing a source, UNN reports.
As the publication notes, this is the first time Storm Shadow has been used to strike at Russian territory.
The strikes using Storm Shadow missiles were approved in response to Russia's deployment of North Korean troops to fight against Ukraine, a move that the UK government viewed as an escalation of the conflict.
