Ukrainian Land Forces spokesman: Occupants are trying to advance towards Chasovyi Yar in Bakhmut sector

Fierce fighting continues in the Bakhmut sector. The occupants are trying to intensify their offensive there, in particular in the direction of Chasovyi Yar. This was reported by the head of the public relations service of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Fitio during a telethon, UNN reports.

The Bakhmut direction remains one of the important areas where the enemy is trying to advance. They are trying to advance in the direction of Chasovyi Yar. Intense offensive actions do not stop there. They are trying to capture Bohdanivka and regain the lost ground in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Kurdyumivka and Andriivka. Over the past day, the enemy actively used unmanned aerial vehicles, FPV drones and drones with dropped missiles in the Bakhmut sector. The enemy sent 41 UAVs against the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The occupants also made 505 attacks with artillery and mortars.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to repel two enemy attacks, destroying 27 invaders and one ammunition depot, Fitio noted.
