Ukraine's women's sabre fencing team won the team tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Olga Kharlan, Olena Kravatska, Alina Komashchuk and Yulia Bakastova brought Ukraine its first gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Ukraine won its first Olympic gold medal in Paris thanks to the women's sabre fencing team. In the final, our athletes beat the South Korean team with a score of 45:42, becoming the winners of the team tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The Ukrainian team was represented by Olga Kharlan, Olena Kravatska, Alina Komashchuk and Yulia Bakastova. Harlan, Komashchuk, and Bakastova fenced in the decisive match.

On their way to the finals, Ukrainian saber fencers defeated Italy in the quarterfinals (45:37) and then Japan in the semifinals (45:32), securing a medal.
