Ukraine U23 scored a dramatic victory over Morocco in the 2024 Olympics. Despite the player's sending off, the Ukrainians pulled out a victory in the 90+8th minute thanks to a goal by Ihor Krasnopir.

In the second round of the 2024 Olympics, Ukraine's U23 national football team wins a dramatic victory over Morocco's Olympic team.
Ruslan Rotan's men opened the scoring in the first half: in the 22nd minute, Ukrainian Olympic midfielder Maksym Bragar dealt with the opponents on the left flank, fired a shot to the goal line, where the pass was closed by Shakhtar's central midfielder Dmytro Kryskiv.
In the second half, the referee awarded a penalty kick to the Ukrainians, as Volodymyr Saliuk violated the rules in the penalty area. In the 64th minute, Sufyan Rahimi, a striker for the Emirati club Al Ain, beat Ukrainian goalkeeper Kyrylo Fesyun to equalize the score. The Ukrainian defender was punished by being sent off for a last-ditch foul.
Despite the fact that Ukraine remained in the minority, Rotan's team continued to create opportunities, trying to get a winning result. In the 90+8th minute, an attack from the center of the field resulted in a shot to Krasnopir. The ball bounced into the net. The referees reviewed the episode for VAR, but in the end it was counted. Ukraine defeats Morocco 2-1 in the Olympic soccer match.
