Ukraine was not informed of any ceasefire agreements - Zelenskyy
Kyiv • UNN
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there have been no official proposals regarding a truce. He considers a one-day ceasefire to be unserious against the backdrop of constant attacks.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine was not informed of any ceasefire agreements, adding that against the backdrop of daily shelling and Ukrainian casualties, proposals for a short-term ceasefire look cynical, UNN reports.
The Americans spoke with the Russians regarding what might happen on May 9th. A ceasefire, or no ceasefire. No one contacted us officially, no one offered anything officially. This is Russia's war against Ukraine. It is important that our side knows what they are agreeing upon. The third point: a ceasefire for one day, after killing our people beforehand, is, to put it mildly, dishonest. Today Merefa, yesterday Dnipro — dead, wounded, adults, children. After this, to say: "Let's have a ceasefire for one day." This is not serious. We have no holidays because of Russia, because of their attacks. To give them a holiday, and on the morning after the 9th, they will be killing again. Therefore, we will see how everything goes
As a reminder
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that for the first time in many years, there will be no military equipment at the May 9th parade in Moscow – they cannot afford it, the Russians are no longer as strong as before. However, according to him, Ukrainian drones might fly over during the event.
