Ukraine to purchase electronic warfare devices for critical infrastructure facilities

The Ukrainian government has decided to finance the purchase of electronic warfare equipment for critical infrastructure and to allocate additional funds for fortifications and border defense to protect against drone attacks.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision that will allow financing the purchase of electronic warfare equipment for critical infrastructure facilities. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President, UNN reports.
"The government has made a decision that will allow us to finance the purchase of electronic warfare devices for critical infrastructure facilities," Shmyhal said.
He also noted that another global challenge for the state today is the construction of defense borders.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government has decided to allocate another UAH 3.88 billion for fortifications on the President's instructions. In total, almost UAH 30 billion has been allocated since the beginning of the year.

Oleksandr Kubrakov , Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, notedthat the second level of protection, which is designed to protect against "shahed", has been built at almost all 22 Ukrenergo substations.
