Kyiv • UNN
On Wednesday, from 17:00 to 22:00, due to the heat and the consequences of Russian attacks, power outage schedules will be implemented in all regions. As a result of shelling and bad weather, consumers in 9 regions remain without electricity, with the most difficult situation in Sumy Oblast.

Due to the heat and the consequences of Russian attacks, from 17:00 to 22:00 power outage schedules will be applied. Because of enemy attacks and bad weather, part of residents in 9 regions are without electricity, the Ministry of Energy reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.
Enemy attacks
As a result of hostilities and Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily left without power supply. The most difficult situation is in the Sumy region
Due to damage to energy facilities as a result of hostilities and enemy shelling in the Sumy region, as indicated, the largest number of consumers remains without electricity.
Energy workers are working to restore electricity to Ukrainian homes as quickly as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock.
Bad weather
"Due to bad weather, over 80 settlements in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Chernihiv regions remain without power supply," the statement reads.
Repair crews are working to restore electricity supply.
Schedules
Due to the consequences of Russian attacks and abnormally hot weather, which leads to a significant increase in electricity consumption, today from 17:00 to 22:00, power limitation schedules for industry and business, as well as hourly blackout schedules for all categories of consumers in the volume of up to one queue, will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine
Consumers were urged, if possible, to shift the use of powerful electrical appliances to the period from 10:00 to 16:00, and during peak load hours — from 16:00 to 23:00 — to consume electricity as sparingly as possible. This, as indicated, "helps maintain stable operation of the power system and minimize the need for restrictions".
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption remains at a high level. Today, July 1, as of 09:30, it was the same as at this time the previous day — on Tuesday. Yesterday, June 30, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was at the same level as the maximum of the previous day — on Monday, June 29.
