Ukraine is preparing to receive a 2.7 billion euro package under the Ukraine Facility program. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko after a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, UNN reports.
Ukraine is preparing to receive a 2.7 billion euro package under the Ukraine Facility program. This was made possible thanks to the joint work of the Government and the Verkhovna Rada. Last week, the parliament adopted a package of decisions necessary to continue financing, including laws on the digitalization of enforcement proceedings, on integration into the EU energy market, and on the reform of the state supervision system.
In addition, according to Svyrydenko, consultations with people's deputies on the next changes necessary to fulfill our obligations to partners are ongoing.
Separately, technical issues of ensuring the first tranche of the EU loan of 90 billion euros were discussed. The focus is also on Ukraine's progress towards the EU. Ukraine consistently and systematically implements all steps of the European integration process. We are moving towards fulfilling the requirements for all six thematic clusters.
Svyrydenko added that within the framework of this work, the Government has already adopted the National Program for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law - this is an important stage on the path to full membership, which provides for the implementation of more than 1600 acts of European law.
