Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár said that his country is ready to block a new package of EU sanctions against Russia, but will not oppose providing Ukraine with a 90 billion euro loan. This was reported by Dennik N, UNN reports.

Details

"If the Druzhba pipeline does not function, and the issue of approving the 20th package is discussed, we will not approve it, because we have no other tools than to force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with the European Commission, to launch the Druzhba pipeline," Blanár said.

At the same time, he added that Slovakia would not oppose the allocation of a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine from the EU.

Recall

The European Union will seek to finalize a 90 billion euro ($105 billion) loan to Ukraine after the electoral defeat of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who had blocked the funding package.

Hungary's next leader, Péter Magyar, stated that he would not hinder Ukraine from receiving a 90 billion euro European Union loan, which had been blocked by the outgoing Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán.
