The border agencies of four countries signed a declaration on supporting the integration of Ukraine and Moldova into the EU. The document provides for strengthening cooperation in the field of security and the implementation of European standards.

Representatives of the border agencies of Ukraine, Moldova, Lithuania and Latvia signed a Joint Declaration on supporting the integration of Ukraine and Moldova into the European Union. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service on Telegram, writes UNN.
Details
The meeting was attended by Acting Head of the SBGS Major General Valeriy Vavryniuk, as well as heads of border agencies of Moldova, Lithuania and Latvia.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of risk analysis, combating cross-border crime, personnel training and implementation of modern security solutions.
Following the meeting, a Joint Declaration was signed, which provides for strengthening interaction in the field of border security and implementing European standards of state border management. The document also confirms support for the integration of Ukraine and Moldova into the EU.
