Over the past day, 173 battles took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy launched missile and air strikes, and shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
173 battles took place on the front last day, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy was also more active in the Kursk and Novopavlivsky directions, in total, two-thirds of the battles took place in these three directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning report on May 30, showing a map of hostilities, writes UNN.
In total, 173 combat engagements were recorded during the past day
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes using three missiles at the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements; 81 air strikes, dropping 158 CABs. In addition, it carried out 5882 shellings, 85 of them from rocket salvo fire systems, and used 2942 kamikaze drones for destruction.
"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit eight areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, a control point, four artillery pieces and an air defense system of the Russian invaders," the statement reads.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, our troops stopped nine enemy attacks in the areas of Starytsa and Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, four attacks by the occupiers took place last day. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka and Nova Kruglyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 13 times. He tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Lypove, Hryhorivka and Ridkodub.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders seven times in the direction of Hryhorivka and near Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, seven combat engagements were recorded, the occupiers tried to advance in the directions of Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Stupochky and in the areas of Kurdyumivka and Chasovoy Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out six attacks near Druzhba, Nelipivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 66 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Zorya, Popiv Yar, Malinivka, Myrolyubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novosergiyivka, Udachne, Troitske and Andriivka.
In the Novopavlivsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped 24 attacks on the positions of our troops near the settlements of Kostyantynopol, Bahatyr, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Vilne Pole and Novodarivka.
The aggressor attacked three times in the Orikhiv direction, fighting took place near Stepove and Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovsky direction, the enemy carried out one offensive action, without success.
In the Hulyaypilsky direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
"In the Kursk direction, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped 26 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 14 air strikes using 26 guided bombs, and also carried out 238 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including 11 from rocket salvo fire systems," the statement said.
