Two more Georgian volunteers died in battles against Russian occupiers. They are Ihor Bekurashvili and 30-year-old Georgi Damenia, reports UNN citing the Georgian publication Sova.
Details
According to the publication, Georgi Damenia was from the city of Senaki. In recent years, he lived in Ukraine and took part in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In the coming days, memorial services will be held in memory of the fallen Georgian fighters.
Citizens of Georgia have been voluntarily joining the defense of Ukraine since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion, and dozens of them have already died at the front.
