Two ballistic missiles launched by the enemy from the occupied Crimea towards Kyiv were successfully destroyed by air defense forces. This was reported on Monday by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports.
According to him, "around 10:30 the enemy struck Kyiv with two ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea."
"Two ballistic missiles were destroyed," Oleshchuk wrote on social media.
He said that "the targets were destroyed, the type is being identified". Oleshchuk thanked the defenders of the sky for their combat work.

On the morning of March 25, explosions were heard in Kyiv, and air defense systems were reported to be operating.
The KCIA reportedthat, according to preliminary information, debris fell in the Pechersk district as a result of a missile attack on Kyiv. Later, KMIA reported that a high-rise building in Pechersk was damaged and debris was found in two other districts.
Two injured are reported.
The air alert has now been canceled.
